How We Serve People
Christ-like hospitality is everything we model. It’s the way Jesus welcomed people, sat with them, listened to them, and created room for transformation, and we want people to see what that actually looks like in real life.
Through our YouTube series and social platforms, we visually model how to gather people around the table. We show what it looks like to invite people who think differently, believe differently, or come from completely different backgrounds. We show how conversation can stay honest without becoming hostile. We show how the table can be a place where curiosity, compassion, and connection can exist at the same time.
People get to watch actual moments of hospitality, not staged perfection, but real table life. Simple meals. Honest questions. Laughter. Tension. Grace. Listening. Welcoming someone who might feel out of place. Choosing unity when disagreement shows up. All of it becomes a picture of the way Jesus gathered people.
And the goal is never for people to only watch us. We want them to feel empowered to create their own tables. To use whatever they have! An apartment, a dorm room, a porch, a picnic bench, wherever. And welcome people in the way Jesus did. Not by copying our style, but by letting God shape their own expression of hospitality.
If someone sees one of our gatherings and thinks, “I can do that,” then our work is doing exactly what it’s meant to do.
Whether it’s sharing a meal, starting a conversation, or creating a moment of belonging, we want to help others carry the spirit of hospitality wherever the Lord leads them. Table 12 is simply here to model it, encourage it, and remind people that God still uses tables to draw hearts back to Him.
